- But those ten methods of clicking a window to front would still be there,
- taking up valuable RAM this time.
-
- Perhaps a better solution would be to include those methods in the form of
- commodities that the user can install at leisure. Damn, that won't work
- either - the current system works that way!

- It is easy to remove all my arguments, then pounce on one thing and call me
- childish. You have answered none of my serious objection against Windows,
- instead you are resorting to a personal attack. Talk about childish...

- You are kidding, right? Never been to c.s.a.advocacy lately?

-
- I know quite a few people who work in the IT sector and have absolutely no
- contact with PC's. Judging from their experience I would say most machines
- out there are RS6000's, HP workstations, and other UNIX machines.

-
- Ok - I can live with that. But you posted a list of features you wanted in
- the Amiga which are now available in Windows. I strongly suspect you want
- those features *only* because Windows have them, not because they are
- useful. That means you are not thinking for yourself.
-
- I once again point out to you that many of those features are in fact
- disadvantages or hacks to cover up shortcomings of the Windows system
- itself. We should not strive to have what Windows have - instead we should
- go for a fast, reliable, and useable system of our own. I personally do
- not believe we will come anywhere near such a system if we thoughtlessly
- copy everything that is part of Windows.

-
- PS. You also wanted to know about that NC clone I told you about. I had it
- on my machine, uhh... well, it must have been years ago. I remember very
- little about it except that it looked as bad and operated as inconvenient as
- the real thing. Try Aminet, I'd say. It could be in util/disk or some such
- place.
